Cold icy gale blew around, carrying with it the whispers of the trees, "winter is close." Galinarael knew that–for every time it's close, an icy sheet covers her heart like a frozen embrace. It doesn't make her cold, but spreads warmth throughout her body and brings undying euphoria.

Under the oak tree they sat once more, surrounded by quietude apart from the bittersweet song the wind would sing to them. The stars and the moon loved it, watching the two blossoms into something glorious, something even the Moon Goddess has never seen before. It was what dedication and unconditional love could do to a lost soul.

It was days like those where they didn't have to say anything to one another, just being around each other was enough. Stolen kisses and magical moments shared.

"Gali I want you to meet someone, you've met Him before but of course you won't remember that. His name is Sonu, would you like to see him?" Larkin asked, sitting up a little beside her. He was cautious as he asked that because he knew it might not be like the first time Galinarael saw him in his wolf form, she was still young at that time and now she's older, fear might be what she feels towards it. "Yah I'd like to see him."

"Are you sure? You don't have—"

"Yes, I am sure of Larkin, I'd like to see him." She interrupted him, her voice small but determination clear in it. Whoever she was about to see must be really special to him with how serious he sounded as the spoke of him–he even looked scared and uncertain of it.

He stood up to his feet, grabbed the hem of his sweater and smiled at her, "you might want to close your eyes for this one." She looked at him incredulously but covered her eyes anyway. The sound of his sweater falling to the ground was heard, followed by a snapping sound.

The cracking and snapping sounds continued for what seemed like forever, all the while groans of pain spilled out of his mouth uncontrollably, even for an alpha it wasn't a nice process. She wanted to see, she wanted help, but something kept her rooted in her seat, he was hurting.

It all stopped, now all that remained was heavy breathing. She was scared to open her eyes and see all that had just happened. Was he alive? She slowly dropped her hands and immediately awe took over the fear she was feeling inside.

"Larky." Her voice thick with awe as she called his name, in Larkin's place stood a colossal beast, a black sheet of fur covered its body; with soft intricate gold swirls decorating its neck and face. Eyes similar to Larkin stared deeply into hers—almost as if they're telling her not to be afraid. She wasn't afraid, the same love she felt for Larkin she felt for the creature. Somehow, she knew that was her Larkin but again the beast was its own person.

She gingerly walked up to it, raised one of her hands and patted its head softly. A groan of pleasure was heard from it as she continued the little gesture. It unexpectedly laid its head on her shoulder, causing her to topple over and fall. A string of giggles followed as the creature took its place by her, head tilted to the side and gleaming eyes focused on the ecstatic girl in front of it.

"Sonu, it's a real bummer that I've met you before and don't remember. If you and Larkin are two separate people, just know I prefer you more." A wolfish grin appeared on its face. Of course Larkin wasn't happy to hear that but he was glad that she wasn't afraid of Sonu, at least now he can be around her in his wolf form whenever he feels like it.

They looked up at the blanket of stars that stretched to infinity. It was another great day for them.
