Nick hurried over to the parking lot and pulled the backdoor open for her, but she crossed her arms on chest and sighed.

“We are going out on a date, so you’re not expecting me to sit in the backseat, right?”

“Oh… Sorry,” Nick muttered uncomfortably as he closed the door and opened the front seat for her.

“Thank you,” She smiled then hopped inside, and he closed the door behind her. Furthermore, he hopped in the driver’s seat and the ride to the restaurant where Lisa had made a reservation began.

Nick’s heart raced in his chest as he drove down the road nervously. It had been a while since he last hang out with a lady, and doing it with his boss’s sister now was really weird and made him feel uncomfortable, but sadly, he couldn’t say no.

“I want to ask you of a favor, Nick. Can you please go out on a date with my sister? I don’t know when she’s going to ask for it, but can you please do this for me? I know it can make uncomfortable, but I really need this’ He was stunned when Xander approached him and asked him that, and even though he didn’t feel like doing it, he knew he had to. Xander wasn’t someone he could say no to

“It’s awkward here,” Lisa broke the awkward silence as she looked at him with a smile on her face.

After a few minutes ride, they finally arrived at the restaurant, and Nick pulled over at the parking lot. He alighted from the car and went to open the door

“Thank you,” She smiled at him flirtatiously as she stepped out of the car and flipped her hair behind her neck.

“I asked Kander for a list of your favourite meal. I got them all,” She looked at him and smiled, making Nick even more uncomfortable.

“Uhm… Hmm,” He just nodded, not knowing what to say Nick had heard from his boss several times that Lisa was a crazy young lady, but he was just starting to notice that about her now. Why would she do all these?

The waiter carefully served them, and after he left, Lisa looked at him and smiled again.

“You should eat,”

“Oh… Yes, I will,” Nick flashed a smile and looked down.

“you have quite the taste. I think I should adapt to your favourite food henceforth…” She paused as he looked at her, and raised her eyebrows.

“Don’t you think so?”

“Sorry, but why?” Nick could not hold it in anymore, so he asked.

“You’ll find out soon. Let’s eat,” She tucked her hair behind her ear as she picked up the spoon and began eating

Lisa’s heart raced in her chest as she admired this handsome man sitting in front of her. All effort to get her eyes off him all proved abortive, so she just allowed herself to stare at him all she could even though it was making him uncomfortable.

“Have you been working with my brother for long?” She asked out of the blue moon, and he paused.

“Yes… Quite some time now,” His reply was brief.

“Oh,” She just muttered. Lisa tried to think of something to say, but with him in front of her, it was difficult to think straight.

“So, tell me… Do you have a girlfriend?” She didn’t hesitate to ask the question she was curious to ask, and he looked at her with his eyes narrowed in
