She had only found out after having her own lunch that Kendrick and Samantha had gone out together. 

Whenever she thought about how Samantha was able to be by Kendrick’s side at any time, she wished that she could strangle her to death on the spot. 

At this time, she was not going to be nice to Samantha. 

But, she still smiled warmly and greeted Kendrick when she saw him, “You’re back, Kenny.” 

Samantha was startled. She felt that Linda’s overly sweet voice gave her goosebumps. 

She walked past Kendrick with no intention to watch them flirt with one another. 

However, Kendrick soon walked into the office, too. 

When he saw Samantha sitting in her seat with her hands–free, he ordered her to make a cup of coffee. 

Samantha walked out of the office and saw Linda staring at her with a 

threatening gaze. 

Linda noted that Samantha was holding a cup in her hand. She shot up and dragged Samantha into the pantry. Once they went in, she locked the door from the inside. 

“Sophia, what’s your relationship with Samantha? Where in the world is she?

“Is that your guilty conscience speaking?” Samantha was exceptionally calm when she saw how Linda was behaving.

Otherwise, why would she begin to panic at the sound of Samantha’s name? 

“Listen to me, Sophia. Previously, even Samantha wasn’t able to defeat me.

“There are some things that you just can’t get away with,” Samantha said calmly. 

Although she spoke placidly, the hatred within her made her seem intimidating. 

Linda was flustered and actually took a step back. 

Samantha took this opportunity to walk past her. She opened the pantry door and walked out. 

Back at the office, Samantha handed the coffee to Kendrick. When she was just about to get back to her seat, someone opened the office door. 

A man in a green–colored suit walked in while supporting Linda. Linda’s eyes were swollen and red. 

When Linda saw Samantha, she looked aggrieved. She bit her l*p and didn’t say a word. 

She simply stood there quietly with tears flowing down her cheeks. She looked really pitiful.

After Damien walked Linda into the office, he no longer attended to her. He went straight to sit in front of Kendrick. 

Once he entered Kendrick’s office, inevitably, he noticed Samantha’s presence, too. Damien gave her a polite smile of acknowledgment.
