“P–Pardon?” Watching him lean closer to her, his low seductive voice suddenly trembled Jasmine. She couldn’t move a step back from him as he was holding onto her chin, but her anxious voice shivered a bit, “W- What do you mean by this, Your Grace?”
On the other hand, gawking intensely into her nervous ocean eyes, Lucian slowly lifted his hand down from her chin and tossed a witty smirk, “You made the choice to come here to me…so there will be no turning back. anymore. You will be entangled to me in this Carpasian kingdom, and I am never letting you go again. From here onwards, you…and the child in your belly…both belong to me. Do you understand?”
Lucian’s deep sensual low voice crawled a spine–chilling sensation in Jasmine’s anxious frail b*dy and even numbed her senses for a brief moment. Such a dazzling Godly–built lycan prince openly claimed her as his belonging and it was the moment that she never expected to happen especially after Bryan brutally broke her heart. But his words as well as his intense gaze somehow tended her heart to race faster, as well as her pale cheeks flushed with a red hue.
“I… understand it, Your Grace.” After a brief moment of anticipation, Jasmine nodded, still trying to avoid her flustered expression from him. But Lucian showed no intention to avert his gaze away from her and suddenly grabbed the back of her hair in his fist, making her wince in pain.
This time, the intense gaze in his blaring onyx eyes–looked dangerous enough to make Jasmine shudder a bit. As she fidgeted with her hair grabbed by him, Lucian stiffened his voice, “Don’t avoid eyes with me. when I am talking to you. It pisses me off.”
“I–I am sorry, Your Grace, please…forgive me…” Quickly realizing his fiery temperament, Jasmine admitted her wrong as she didn’t intend to irk him

However, Lucian still held tight onto her hair and lifted his face down a bit closer to her as Jasmine could feel his warm breath over her face. “You came to me on your own, you chose to be with me on your own, so don’t ever dare to run away from me! With this Hideous Monster, you are entangled for the rest of your life…do remember it well.”
His cold and stiff words sounded more like a powerful threat that sent chills down her spine, giving her a realization about how deadly he was when claiming his own belongings! When Lucian finally unleashed his grip on her hair, Jasmine retreated a step back from him and gave a humble bow, accepting all his demands.
“I understand…and I swear with my life that I will offer my loyalty to you, Your Grace! No matter how you treat me…even as a slave or as a tool to relieve your b*dy’s needs, I will always do whatever you ask me for, I promise…” Her voice shivered a little as she fearfully uttered the words, trying to assure him as well.
A bit pleased by her submission, the smirk on his face widened a bit as he continued staring at her. Jasmine’s exceptional beauty was creating at radiant aura around her, and not only he could feel an enchanting scent. lingering from her, her cowered b*dy looked so small and fragile before him that it triggered Lucian’s protective instincts for her as an Alpha Lycan.
He was also baffled especially after all these years when he had thought he had lost all his powers forever and would never recover them, leading him. to live the rest of his life as the hideous, deformed prince of this kingdom. But, it was undeniable that meeting Jasmine had changed his fate. drastically beyond his imagination!
After a heavy pause, Lucian glanced once at himself in the giant mirror. behind him. Just by glancing at his breathtakingly handsome face, he could feel all of his lost self–confidence returning back to him.

that black mask and started putting it on the left side of his face, just like before. “Since you will do anything I say, then I order you to keep your ability as a secret here as well. Also, it goes the same about your pregnancy, understand?” After taking a deep breath, he exclaimed in a cold pitch.
“Huh…D–Does that mean…” Jasmine lowered her confused voice, gawking intently as she mumbled, “You will keep that mask on your face?”
“Yes.” A cold, hefty voice came from him when Lucian finished putting on his mask carefully.
The mask also hid his left eye properly but Lucian was extra cautious about not leaving any trace to discover. Turning around at her, he commanded her, “Make sure to keep it as a grave secret between us. No one in this kingdom should know that you have healed my deformed face, so I have to keep acting up just like before. And you too, shouldn’t be trusting anyone here as well, except me.”
As his words resonated deeply in the room, Jasmine rolled her eyes as she continued staring at him. Her expression seemed puzzled by his gesture, but she couldn’t muster her courage to ask anything more which might trigger his anger.
However, watching her make that contemplated expression, Lucian marched a few steps closer to her, and peering a deep gaze, he urged, “Don’t worry. I won’t hurt you or your child just as I gave my word to you. So, in this unknown place, all you have to do is trust me…okay?”
His cold reassurance seemed to lift a bit of heavyweight down her chest. that was making her uneasy from inside. With a brief nod, she accepted his words and muttered, “I…I will do that…”
Lucian buttoned up his cuffed sleeves and looked at the shattered pieces. of the glass vessel scattered on the floor behind her. Narrowing his brows, he grunted, “Don’t try to pick those yourselves, the maids will do that. Also, I will appoint someone among them to look after you.”

“T–The senior maid among them!” Suddenly, Jasmine muttered aloud, unable to hold herself from expressing her will. She was indeed comfortable around Lady Martha so when Lucian mentioned appointing someone for her, she couldn’t help but clumsily murmur, “No I mean…if you could just…appoint Lady Martha…for me-”
“You are quite a needy maiden, huh?” A cryptic smile sliced his l*ps as Lucian intently threw his reading retort at her. When he turned around to walk out of the room, his feet paused for a moment when he urged her again, “What’s your name?”
“O–Oh, I am sorry! I–It was rude of me to not even introduce myself properly before you, Your Grace!” His cold inquiry made her panic and fluster a bit as Jasmine bowed her head down, anxiously mumbling, “I am Jasmine Wood, Your Grace! Age 20, and a Gemini!”
“I didn’t ask for that extra information,” Lucian once again intently teased her with a straight face while stopping himself to smile. “Well then, wait. for me here like a good obedient maiden, and I shall see you at night.” He muttered aloud before walking out of the door, closing it behind him with a thud.
“Jasmine…what a pretty name,” his smile arched bigger when Lucian shrugged his shoulder, mumbling on his own.
On the other hand, being left behind alone in the room, Jasmine huffed a heavy sigh as she confusedly blurted to herself, “Phew…it was so intense, damn it! Wait…he claimed me as his own belonging and even ordered me to stay here in the room until he comes back…so that means, am l’under house arrest?”
