When Jasmine placed her soft palm over Lucian’s scarred face, strangely, he didn’t feel that repulsive urge he had always felt wherever anyone dared to touch him. He quietly stood still, gawking intensely into her by tilting his head down as he allowed her to rub her hands all over his left face, including his deformed blind eye.
Since childhood, Lucian was driven to the edge to isolate himself entirely in darkness, putting up a cold barrier around him in order to protect himself. But when the frail–looking maiden looked at him with compassion in her eyes, strangely, a part of his heart could sense a lingering warmth that didn’t make him feel the repulsive urge anymore.
On the other hand, closing her eyes tight, as soon as Jasmine softly caressed his face, the bluish flame started to emit out of her hand, leaving an unusual cooling sensation on Lucian. But strangely, like always she was capable of healing any of the critical injuries in a few seconds, this time even when a whole minute had passed, nothing effective seemed to happen to Lucian.
When Jasmine opened her eyes, her brows twitched in concern to see his face looked exactly the same as before even though she applied her ability on him. The observation made her panic inside, but still keeping a composed expression on the outside, she muttered, “L–Let me try it once again.”
“Are you certain that you can do it?” This time, Lucian’s low heavy voice indicated a hint of doubt even though his dark gaze was intensely glued on her.
He exhaled a deep sigh with a shrug, before he continued, “Even though you are the only lucky maiden who is fortunate enough to see my entire face. To be honest, this scar is an old and the most painful memory of mine that exists until now so it can’t be easily obliterated as it might seem. So, if you can’t do it-”

“I can!!” Unable to contain her panicked emotions, Jasmine uttered anxiously as she trailed off his sentence. Being aware of the fatal destiny awaited before her if she failed, Jasmine clenched her lower jaw and almost gritted impatiently, “You are not alone. I also possess certain painful moments in my past.

Jasmine closed her eyes once again and this time, she held his face with both arms, as gently as she could. Moving a little closer to him within an inch gap between their faces from each other, as soon as the bluish flames started to emit out of her palms, she started mumbling her ardent prayers in her mind.
‘My mom had always said miraculous healers are born in a pack after 100 years, only with blessings from the Moon Goddesses. Right now, my whole life depends on this. In fact, I am also carrying another life in my b*dy, so please at least let me survive for the child. I have never asked anything properly for me in my whole life, but please grant my prayer today.

Even he was startled to witness. such dazzling lights blinding his vision that made him shut his eyes tight. and for the next few seconds, both of their hearts raced faster in anticipation.
Suddenly the lights vanished from her palms and Jasmine immediately. blinked open her eyes, as a wide grin curved her l*ps. The deep hideous. scar that had cut vertically to the left side of his face had completely disappeared, uplifting Lucian’s gorgeous handsomeness to the greatest level!
With such a Godly–built face and radiant white smooth skin, Jasmine quickly realized that his handsomeness was 1000 times more compared to Bryan whom she had always considered as the most handsome man she
ever met.
With much anticipation and concern, when Lucian slowly opened up his eyes, his sharp pointed brows twitched in awe. His left deformed white. pupil had obtained the same black composition and charm as his right eye, making him obtain clear vision for the first time in years with both of his eyes! It took him a few seconds to process that he was actually healed as he unknowingly tried to touch his scar, as well as his fingertips rolled over his left eye.
“Your Grace! I did it! You are finally healed! I have freed you from that hideous scar…just like I had said! I…have proved my worth!” However, bursting with joy and excitement, Jasmine grabbed him by his face again, making him look into her eyes with his clear vision.
But Lucian was far too startled to speak as he only gawked at her, still containing disbelief in his wide–doe eyes.
Watching the puzzled look on his face, Jasmine quickly brought up a small mirror from the dressing table and held it in front of Lucian. With a
