To the Queen's Castle

Cumba and Torbo went their separate ways once the four got out of the Land of Shadows, for Peter and Raine, they headed straight off to the Queen’s kingdom. On their way there, they stopped here and there for a rest break or to eat some food, but right now they were taking a break while Raine was in the air stretching her wings while flying. For Peter, he was sitting down on a rock while looking ahead where the peak of the castle was poking out from the tall trees as they were getting closer to the kingdom. He was thinking what will happen if the queen does not like him, or she wants him killed or something, all the negative thoughts are running through his head. There was a small twig snap as Peter stood up and pulled out his elf sword while looking in the sound’s direction and there was that same little creature he saw one night when the whales were in the sky. The little one looks up at Peter with their big humanized brown eyes. Peter puts his sword away and kneels while holding out his hand to it as the little creature looks at his hand then looks up at Peter. “What do you think I am, an animal?” a squeak male voice said while this shocked Peter and pulled his hand back.

“Sorry I just… I don’t know what you are, so I am trying to… you know, make you know I won’t harm you.” Peter told him as he chuckled.

“I knew you were good when I first saw you.” he said while using its rabbit’s feet to scratch behind his big mouse ears.

“Oh… well, do you mind me asking, what are you?” Asked Peter.

“Sure! I am what some elves and dwarves call me Chinarmons! I have a name and that is Zimcat.” Zimcat said as Peter nodded.

“Well, it’s nice to meet you, Zimcat. My name is Peter, Peter Williams.” Peter said while holding out his hand to Zimcat as he looked at his hand then back up at him.

“Yup, it’s nice to meet you as well.” Said Zimcat will scratch his chin. “So you are heading off to the queen?”

“Yes, I am, me and Raine.” Peter said while looking up at the sky as Raine was heading back towards them.

“I see, I see… Do you mind if I could join your little group? I have to see the queen myself.” Zimcat said while looking up at Peter.Peter thought for a bit as he wondered what Chinarmons does and other things, but there is one thing on his mind, why did Zimcat come all this way just to follow Raine and him just to see the queen. Is Zimcat a spy? A friend? Or going to meet the queen for something. So many things have gone through his mind, but he looks at Zimcat as he will come with them. Peter smiled a little and nodded.

“Sure you can join us.” said Peter while Raine landed next to Peter and looked down at Zimcat.

“Oh, hullo there.” Raine said in a delighted voice while Zimcat smiled up at Raine.

“Hullo.” Zimcat said with a cheerful voice. “My name is Zimcat.”

“Nice to meet you, Zimcat! My name is Raine Astar.” said Raine. “What can we do for you?”

“He is coming with us to the queen Raine.” said Peter as he stood next to Raine and Raine nodded.

“Well, that’s fine by me! Now that I got some exercise, we can get back on the road.” Said Raine while grabbing her staff (that was leaning against a tree this whole time while she was in the sky) and started walking off.Peter soon follows her with Zimcat on their tail, but he is doing a great job walking their same paste, even though he was a lot smaller than them. Walking through the woods, Peter could smell a sweet smell that he closed his eyes and took a good whiff before opening his eyes and looking over to the right and saw an apple pie sitting in a window like thing. He stopped, so did Zimcat that was behind him. And look up at him, then look over to where he was looking at and eyes go wide. Climbing on Peter’s leg up to his shoulder and patting his face with his little hands while Peter looks at Zimcat.

“It’s best we don’t stop here. What you are looking at is a trap. Now keep going before we lose Raine.” Zimcat told Peter and Peter did not complain, as he can tell by Zimcat’s action that something is wrong about that place.Peter hurried to catch up with Raine with Zimcat on his shoulder. Once they are now right behind Raine, the trees are getting thinner and thinner before there is none and just an open land. What Peter saw made him go awestruck. There was a white castle that had a white hue around it and there were flowers wrapped around the towers and walls. The place gave out powerful and happy vibes, like no evil had ever lurked in these lands before. Raine and Peter stopped and looked at the castle before Raine walked ahead a little and turned around and looked at Peter with a smile.

“Well, Peter, welcome to the Queen’s kingdom.” Raine said with a cheerful voice and a close eye smile. “Now come Peter, we must see the queen.”Peter smiled and walked beside Raine as they headed to the gate. When they were getting closer, Zimcat jumped off Peter’s shoulder and scurried off into the castle. Raine and Peter watched him as they paid no attention but Zimcat scurried away and kept on walking through the gate and looked around the kingdom as everything was white and some elves everywhere that dressed all in gray and lighter gray dresses.
