Lulu and the Vampire who had both killed some of the witches were also in fright.

The vampire growled as another witch ran towards him with as spear pointed right at his chest. He was quick to grab the spear and shove the witch aside throwing the spear right at her chest.

She shrieked in pains and fell to the ground and lost her breath as if she was dead but then she woke up the next minutes.

The fight went on and the three were unable to kill any of the witches.

They were getting really exhausted an tired that the could barely stand.

The witches were beginning to deal with them siverely.

Melanie whom the witches thought was dead was lying face down on the floor.

She had already healed up to the point were she could at least fight.

She lift up her head to take a look at what was going on but was shocked to see what was going on. The witches were all on their feet and they were dealing mercilessly with the other three she was with.

They all looked haggard and beaten to a pulp.

Even the alpha king hard a lot if wounds and bloody bruises around his whole body.

She was really shocked.

She was sure to keep her face down and not to stand up.

Ryker managed to kill another witch again and Melanie breath in relief but was shocked when the witch rose to her feet again.

A sword was cutted right through Lulu’s leather shoes and it hurt her feet.

Blood was evident.

Melanie couldn't just lay down and Watch.

She quickly stood to her feet and rushed forward grabbing one of the witches in the neck by surprise.

The witch shrieked and made to turn back when Melanie yanked her neck sideways.

But then as usual she rose back to her feet.

Melanie sighed and quickly took the sword on the floor next to her feet.

Something was definitely not right.

Twenty witches can't look exactly the same, have the same voice and not die when they are being killed .

Without thinking she made a large ball with fire and threw it towards on of the witches.

It landed right at her and she screamed in fright.

It burned through her body but then it rebuilded in minutes after the fire died.

"Melanie, what are you doing? You'll only worsen the matter by making light! *

Lulu's voice snapped at her,lulu was in pains.

But Melanie had noticed something odd.

The witch has now shadow, when she threw the ball right at her it did caught up with her but it did not burn her to severely like it should. Her body rebuilded.

And the fire did caused a light to shun at the witches but they did not show their shadow. Where they immortal?

That's the only explanation to prove their situation.

What to do?

Melanie's head was bouncing up and down and it hurt alot from all the thinking.

She threw as many fireballs at the witches as she could to shield her and her three injured companions from them.

She was getting exhausted but she didn't stop throwing her fireballs.

But then she noticed something strange within them.

All of them had no shadows but there was a certain witch who 2as standing behind the others and they were like trying to shield been from the fire.

The did not let her get hurt.

And when Melanie had threw a fireball at them she saw something that looked like a shadow right behind the witch.

She needed to confirm it so she made a even bigger ball and threw it right at the witches Directing it towards the targeted on who shrieked and moved back in fear as the ball threw all the witches guarding her aside and swim towards her.

She hard to recoil.

It was now clear to Melanie as she could not see the witches shadow clearly.

A sly smile formed at the end of her lips.

All the other witches were fake, the only true witch among them is the witch with the shadow. The others won't die only if she dies.

The cunning sly witch has being the one toying with them all along.

Immediately she ignited all the fire in her, it was at its fullest.

Her whole body shined brightly and the dark bushes were now visible to the others.

She was burning with rage and fire and the witches recoiled in fear.

"Melanie.. Whatever are you doing to yourself? *

Ryker asked worriedly but her couldn't stand to his feet due to the pains in his legs.

Without thinking twice Melanie hold the sword in her hands firm and launched right towards the witch.

She ignored all the cuts, powers, and punches thrown her way by the duplicate witches and went directly towards the real witch.

Melanie's sword sunk right into the witches heart and the witches eyes widened.

Blood gushed out from the side of her mouth and she struggled to keep her breath.

The other witches were also in pains as wails and screams filled the whole area.

Melanie only looked at the witch with a cunning smile.

A smirk was plastered on her lips

And then she whispered these last words to the witch.

"gotcha! "

Before she further sunk her sword deeper into the witches heart.

The witch took her last sour breath and died

Melanie then let go of the sword and she fell to the ground with a thud.

The other twenty witches vanished immediately into thin air.

Melanie breath heavily and fell on the floor with a loud thud.

Her head was pounding hard
